Strandhotel Vigilante expands!

At Strandhotel Vigilante, we strive to ensure our guests enjoy a beautiful and unforgettable holiday at the IJsselmeer where a sense of tranquillity and coming home is key. To allow even more guests to enjoy our beautiful beachfront location in the future, we are going to expand! We have now started building a new hotel wing. Via this page, we would like to inform you about our expansion plans and what the construction work means for your stay in our hotel in the near future.

While we try to keep inconvenience to a minimum, it is unfortunately unavoidable that the works will involve some noise nuisance. If you have any questions about our developments, our colleagues at reception will be happy to help you!

What's coming?

With the construction of the new hotel wing, our offer will expand to include:

32 Leisure appartments
25 Luxury suites
1 Central lobby

How will the construction works affect my stay?

We will remain open to our guests during the construction work. The construction work may cause some inconvenience, we ask for your understanding. Of course, we will do our utmost to keep any inconvenience to a minimum.

Will you soon be celebrating your business meeting, wedding anniversary or birthday with us? We will make sure it will be an unforgettable day. We will still aim for the same hospitality and quality as you have come to expect from us.

Construction update: Ground floor laid & summer break

In recent months, we have been working hard on our new hotel wing. And with success, as the ground floor has now been laid and the contours of the new wing are visible. There is currently a summer break from 23 June to 17 September, after which construction work will resume and work will begin on building the floors.
